CAREGIVER RESPITE POOL

 
One of the biggest challenges for caregivers of individuals with disabilities is finding qualified respite care. The Arc of Utah has organized a respite pool to give caregivers and respite providers an opportunity to find each other in specific geographic locations.
 

Caregiver Information:

If you are a caregiver and looking for a worker to interview, then click on the following link and send us an e-mail at "caregive@arcutah.org"

YOU MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THE BODY OF THE E-MAIL:

• Your name,
• Phone number,
• Email address (Preferable)
• Location (city in Utah),
• If you do not have e-mail, your home address

Provider/Worker Information:

If you are a respite provider, please click on this link to send us an e-mail at "worker@arcutah.org "

YOU MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THE BODY OF THE E-MAIL:

As a provider, you will only be contacted by caregivers in your area who are looking for a worker. The Arc will not contact you about possible employment nor do we have that information available.

 
The Arc will help caregivers locate workers by geographic location. It will be the caregivers responsibility to contact the potential worker and set up an interview. All interviewing, screening, background checks, reference checks, competency evaluations or anything else associated with hiring of workers is the sole responsibility of the caregiver.

 
*The Arc of Utah is not responsible for screening of any kind. The Arc will not be performing background checks, screening skills, checking references, etc. Participants are responsible for performing their own interviews, background checks, competency evaluations, reference checks, etc. on any potential candidate.

There is no fee to participate in this program.
